Democrats embarrassed themselves during the confirmation hearing for Judge Brett Kavanaugh, not only disrupting as much as they could but lying their heads off in an attempt to smear the nominee. Perhaps the worst among them (although that’s a tough call) was Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) who compared himself to Spartacus.
Booker made a huge scene threatening to release Kavanaugh emails that the Committee had obtained from when he worked for the Bush White House. Booker claimed that the emails dealt with racial profiling. He said he was willing to violate Senate rules and risk expulsion from the Senate by releasing the emails. Democrats and liberal media immediately touted his “courage.”
But then the truth came out.
Not only had the information been cleared for release and Booker knew it before he made his grandstanding play, but then when the emails were released they showed that Kavanaugh was AGAINST racial profiling of any kind. They proved the exact opposite of what Booker claimed.
Even liberal media couldn’t believe Booker’s audacity and lies, even CNN’s Anderson Cooper and MSNBC’s Chris Hayes interviewing him couldn’t believe him.
But perhaps the biggest burn for Booker in the wake of his silliness came from Supreme Court Justice.
Thomas was doing an interview with the Federalist Society. There are perhaps few people who understand the desperate attacks on a Supreme Court nominee than Clarence Thomas.
From Daily Caller:
Justice Thomas was asked about the general politicization of the court by politicians and preserving the “legitimacy” of the court.
Thomas scoffed at the question, saying that justices need to be “honest,” and “follow the law.” Thomas then said that the word “honorable” needs to be used more in relation to those in public life. Thomas said “Honorable – if we could use that word about more people who are in public life, people who actually ask the questions at confirmation hearings, instead of ‘Spartacus’…”
From last week, Justice Clarence Thomas: "Honorable – if we could use that word about more people who are in public life, people who actually ask the questions at confirmation hearings, instead of 'Spartacus'…"

POLL: Should Brett Kavanaugh be APPROVED for the Supreme Court?
I’m not sure
The Kavanaugh hearing has shown how Democrats are willing to do anything to stop the confirmation of a good man.
Both Booker and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) were caught and exposed for spreading lies to smear Kavanaugh, even Politifact had to call out Harris. And Hillary Clinton repeated Harris’ lie even after it had already been debunked by Politifact.
They really need to acquaint themselves with the concept of ‘honor.’
