Joe Biden probably would have done a better job than Hillary Clinton in 2016. Granted, that’s not saying much considering Hillary Clinton was one of the worst presidential candidates in modern history. But still, Biden wouldn’t have ignored the Rust Belt voters like Hillary did. Heck, he wouldn’t have openly mocked Rust Belt voters like Hillary did.
Pennsylvania was a state that none of the “experts” thought Trump could win and it’s certainly a state you’d think Biden would have a good shot at if he were to run in 2020.
However, Biden would have to win back a lot of Democrats who ditched Hillary for Trump in 2016. Including some in his own family.
Relatives of former Vice President Joe Biden supported then-candidate Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, the politician’s brother revealed this week.
In an interview with the Palm Beach Post published Monday, Frank Biden, 65, lambasted Clinton’s 2016 White House bid, claiming his older sibling would have won Pennsylvania and campaigned harder in Michigan.
“We never would have lost Pennsylvania, and all my relatives — the Finnegan family — who voted for Donald Trump because they felt slighted by Hillary and her campaign,” Biden, senior adviser at the Berman Law Group, told the Florida newspaper.
Is this guy going to run in 2020? Why not? Democrats have literally no one.
We should find out pretty soon.
Former Vice President Joe Biden will likely decide in the next two weeks if he will run for president in 2020, according to a report.
Biden reportedly told people close to him that he does not think any other Democrat challengers could take on President Donald Trump in a general election.
