Pelosi Makes Career Of Being Pro-Abortion… Now Argues ‘We Have A Moral Responsibility to Protect God’s Creation’

Is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally turning over a new leaf? She recently said she wants to be a champion of future generations.

Taking to Twitter, Pelosi argued that: “We have a moral responsibility to protect God’s creation for generations to come.”

What an amazing line — and one the pro-life movement will joyously agree with.

The line undoubtedly came as a shock to everyone on the right who has been forced to see the House Speaker repeatedly and nearly routinely pass pro-abortion laws.

So how can Pelosi just now be realizing that she has a “moral responsibility to protect God’s creation for generations to come” when she has made a career of supporting abortion?

Probably because she still does not view abortion as murder and was actually talking about climate change in the tweet.

Here’s more, from the Daily Wire:

So Pelosi feels that “we have a moral responsibility to protect God’s creation for generations to come?” Just which generations is she talking about? Surely it can’t be the generations yet to come who will be snuffed out by her own party’s embrace of aborting them. What is Pelosi’s position an abortion?

It’s not hard to find:

November 13, 2015:

For over forty years, the Supreme Court has consistently ruled that a woman’s health decisions must be her own, in consultation with her family, her physician, and her faith. I am pleased the Supreme Court will be hearing the challenge to Texas politicians’ appalling attempt to deny women their constitutional right to make their own reproductive health decisions.

According to the report, Pelosi said on January 22, 2016, the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, that a woman’s “constitutional right to make their own health decisions” was under attack by “a brazen and concerted Republican effort.”

She reportedly said:

For the more than 40 years since Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court has consistently ruled that a woman’s reproductive health decisions must be her own — in consultation with her family, her physician and her faith. Yet today, American women are witnessing a brazen and concerted Republican effort to roll back their constitutional right to make their own health decisions.

Politicians have no business inserting themselves into a woman’s most personal and private health decisions. Republicans’ outrageous attacks on women’s health in the states, the courts and the Congress seek to drag America’s women back to a dark and dangerous past. Already, women in many states across the country are finding their most intimate decisions under assault — including Republicans’ efforts to roll back access to any kind of family planning.
