Ilhan Omar Condemned By Both Sides Of Aisle After Being Accused Of Another Anti-Semitic Comment

It seems that freshmen Democrats Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) are in a neck and neck race to see who can generate the most negative press with gaffes or bad remarks.

Ocasio-Cortez jumped out to a big lead with the debacle of the Green New Deal.

But then Omar called for the defunding of the DHS.

And now, she’s made another comment that many believe is anti-Semitic.

It came after Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said he might pursue action against Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) for prior anti-Semitic statements.

Reporter Glenn Greenwald tweeted about McCarthy’s comments.

And Omar responded, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby 🎶.”

Wow, that’s bad.

Sure sounds like an anti-Semitic trope to me.

She then made it worse after a journalist asked who did she think was paying American politicians.

And then she retweeted a comment which said “she might as well have call us hook-nosed.” She later deleted the retweet.

Her comments lit up the internet from both sides of the aisle.

New freshman Democrat Rep. Max Rose from New York called her out:

She then even blamed the blowback on “GOP smears.” Because apparently pointing out her own words is a “smear.”

This is only her latest comment. In 2012, she tweeted that “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel. She only apologized for that comment last month.
