Donald Trump Jr. Defends Chelsea Clinton Against Uncalled For Attack

A pregnant Chelsea Clinton was blasted by NYU students when she went to attend a Friday night vigil for the people killed in the New Zealand mosque attacks.

She was yelled at for daring to criticize the anti-Semitic remarks of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). Leftist students accused Clinton of being responsible for the attacks because of that criticism.

Now Clinton is getting an unlikely champion to defend her from the baseless attack – Donald Trump Jr.

From NY Post:

“It’s sickening to see people blame @ChelseaClinton for the NZ attacks because she spoke out against anti-Semitism,” Trump tweeted Saturday. “We should all be condemning anti-Semitism & all forms of hate. Chelsea should be praised for speaking up. Anyone who doesn’t understand this is part of the problem.”

Here’s a video of the unhinged attack on Chelsea:

“This right here is the result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world,” senior student Leen Dweik told Clinton Friday in a video posted to social media. “The 49 people died because of the rhetoric you put out there,” added Dweik — who was wearing a Bernie Sanders 2020 T-shirt.

Clinton trying to be respectful, given it’s a vigil, said she was sorry that Dweik felt that way.

Another student then berates Clinton, “What does ‘I’m sorry you feel that way’ mean? What does that mean?”

The student who took the video, Rose Asraf, later tweeted, “People haven’t forgotten the Islamophobic mob she incited against @IlhanMN. There is no sense of responsibility.”

“We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism,” Clinton said in February, in a rebuke of Omar. She didn’t say anything that could even possibly be interpreted as anti-Muslim.

Unfortunately, more Democrats didn’t join her in calling out Omar’s remarks.

Good on Donald Trump Jr. for coming to Chelsea’s defense!

Just incredibly wrong and completely uncalled for to try to call criticism of anti-Semitism “Islamophobia” or to suggest it had anything to do with the horrible attack.
