Meghan McCain: Dems Will Lose if They Don’t Admit Border Crisis, Joy Behar’s Response Is All Liberal

The hosts at ‘The View’ threw down on Monday during a heated discussion about immigration policy and the resignation of DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

Meghan McCain, who is not a fan of President Donald Trump, ridiculously suggested that somehow Lou Dobbs or other Fox hosts were telling President Donald Trump what to do on immigration policy when he’s held the same positions, consistently, since he started campaigning for office and stuck to them, unlike many other politicians, who might have wilted in the face of the many obstacles thrown in his path.

But then McCain snuck in a some sense, talking about the people she knew who lived in the border states, who lived near the border and have seen all the problems. Her family is from Arizona. She said that this was a hardline issue for them, the number one issue. And that if Democrats weren’t going to recognize that there was a crisis, those people would vote for Trump on 2020.

Behar responded that the way to solve the problem was to help the countries they were coming from, as though the U.S. hasn’t been pouring millions in aid to those countries for years. “Give them a house, give them food, help them,” Behar said.

From Fox News:

McCain shot back, “Give a Nicaraguan a house? We’ve had a bunch of liberal guests who do not want to send in aid at all.”

Behar replied, “I’ll listen to you, let me just finish.”

“Part of your job is to listen to me,” McCain scoffed with a flip of her long blond mane. “Just saying.”

Whoopi Goldberg then had to intervene and said that they weren’t going to get into a battle, that each would have their opportunity to talk.

“So finish what you’re saying,” Goldberg told Behar.

Behar said she’d forgotten what she was going to say.
