Last week, Ivanka Trump attended the G-20 summit with President Donald Trump. It turns out she was personally invited by Prime Minister Shinzō Abe.
Thank you Prime Minster Abe for inviting me to address heads of State on the economic + national security imperative of economically empowering women globally.
I am grateful for the opportunity to elevate this critical issue, which must remain at the heart of the G20 agenda.#WGDP pic.twitter.com/od2duBttnC

Ivanka had the honor to promote the advancement of women in the attending delegation.
Instead of gracefully thanking Ivanka for representing the United State, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortex decided to emphasize the appearance of nepotism with Ivanka’s participation.
It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification.

It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on.
The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either. https://t.co/KCZMXJ8FD9

Former Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sander was quick to point out Ivanka Trump’s obvious achievement in comparison to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s evident lack of achievements.
Phoning it in @AOC is wasting your time on Twitter while destroying jobs in NY. @realDonaldTrump & @IvankaTrump actually created millions of new jobs and continue to make the US stronger on the global stage but thank you for reminding Americans everyday why they elected Trump. https://t.co/uGN4GXgAsC

The opportunity at the G-20 summit was an achievement for the United States as well as a testament to women’s liberty in America. Ivanka may have the last name Trump; that has yet to influence any sense of entitlement in her work. She chose to become a success in her own right.
In 2012, Ivanka’s interview on Amanda de Cadenet’s The Conversation presented the life of a successful business owner, author, wife, and mother.
At twenty-nine, Ivanka Trump was a self-made young woman. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, now twenty-nine, is a young woman made by her party, for her party, and is sustaining on the taxes of those she claims to represent. Instead of looking to Ivanka Trump as an example of a flourishing feminist, Alexandria decided to tear Ivanka down simply because she has a personal animus with President Trump. Overall Alexandria’s political ploy was unbecoming. Sarah Huckabee Sanders rightfully framing Alexandria as underqualified as a state representative was to be expected.
