ABC News executives have claimed their journalists were unable to corroborate the details of the reporting against Epstein in order to broadcast.

Head of investigations for ABC News, Chris Vlasto, told NPR, “We would never run away from that. The network has filed approximately two dozen digital and broadcast stories on Epstein since early 2015, when ABC started talking to the accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre.”

However, it’s coming to light that ABC has extensively covered other accusations with far less evidence, such as those against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
