Dems Lose It Over Cuomo’s Nursing Home Saga — Calling For His Emmy Award To Be Rescinded

Queens Councilman Robert Holden, a Democratic lawmaker in New York demands that Cuomo’s Emmy Award be revoked.

Cuomo withheld data regarding nursing home deaths due to the coronavirus.

Cuomo was awarded the Emmy in recognition of his daily televised press briefings during the height of the pandemic.

Hollywood elites saluted the governor.

When accepting the award Cuomo said that his daily briefings “only offered one thing — authentic truth and stability. But sometimes, that’s enough.”

“We now know that his TV appearances and clout were used to mislead the public regarding how their loved ones died,” Councilman Holden said in a letter.

“Please rescind the Governor’s award immediately, as his actions have been an insult to every New Yorker who lost a loved one during this terrible pandemic.”

Cuomo now faces a criminal investigation and possible impeachment.

New York’s nursing home death toll from COVID-19 is close to 13,000, which is higher than the 8,677 reported.
