If you watch CNN you probably think that the entire country hates Trump and that no one wants him to build a wall at the border. If you live in the real world you understand that over 60 million people voted for Trump after he spent months talking about how we need a wall.
Those Americans, and many more, still want the wall and the polling data shows it.
President Trump’s proposed wall along the United States-Mexico border has soared in popularity with American voters across the board, as he battles a split GOP-Democrat Congress to secure funding for the barrier.
The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll reveals a major shift among nearly all demographic groups across the country when it comes to support for a border wall at the southern border.
This time last year, the poll claimed that only 34 percent of voters supported a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border. Today, support for the wall has climbed to 42 percent overall. Most notable, swing voters are increasingly supportive of the border wall to control immigration.
You aren’t going to hear about that one on ESPN. More people want the wall than last year. That speaks volumes.
It’s not clear at this point if Trump is going to get this wall built but he clearly has more support from the American people than the media is letting on.
